Ah! Was walkin past Lanyon building at Queen's yesterday and this guy with a horrible, colourful, stripy wooly hat looked straight at me as he walked past, and i thought I know him- it was Brendan Browne lookin really really bad. And then today got off the train, walked up Botanic Avenue, heard this really loud and annoyin laugh and thought i know that laugh- looked up and it was Ruairi Rowan, you can hear that boy a mile off! Also Andy Bates was on the train this morning and kept starin at me, and finally had to talk to Jackie after about 2 months of havin not to- Got rid of her on the way home though!- Yeah- which was when i saw Orla, again on Botanic Avenue, but only said hi because i was about to miss the train, she looks great, her hairs all sleek! I haven't seen Neighbours in a couple of days, what do ya think the likelihood is that more of Harold's family will appear, or maybe Serena and Lil will be come back in the way Harold did, although i still think they'll reuse that storyline for Dee, she was never found! hey everyone, sorry i havent posted in a while, been quite busy. i finished my exams last week and went on a bit of a two day bender, resulting in my getting off with someone who lives right above me, my my that was awkward. i also intercepted a giant drug deal on the way back to my halls the other night, so i am never walking home again. i had a good time when micheal came up but im glad he doesnt live here, i would never get any work done, i skipped uni to hang out with him and hurt my leg at the childrens playground. i was supposed to be doing work last night but at the last minute got offered a ticket to go see be your own pet, good shoes and harrisons, it was an amazing gig which ended in a stage invasion and crowdsurfing, they are mad, you should try to see them. anyway nothing else is new really except i am going to a few gigs next week and im back at uni, already my attendence is bad. well i hope to talk to ya all soon! also neighbours was amazing and i was really upset when i found out susan hadnt died, how dare they...

hey, louise i don't start back till tomorrow. yo, passed my french exam but that was the easy one, don't find out about the hard ones until march. had end of exam partys on friday and saturday night, were good. one on friday was quite cheesy but me and my flatmate started the saturday night dance and everyone else followed. cos ya know, we're just so cool. did anyone else watch the oc today? i can't believe ryan and marissa weren't doing it all this time and i know everyone else was thinking the same thing. also the bastards at channel 4 cut out the big thing were jimmy gets beaten up. the damn network! not looking forward to starting back tomorrow but have all these resolutions, such as do loads and loads of reading for law and i've signed up for a gym induction on wed. such good intentions.

no louise i love personal messages for me as im sure everyone else does! went to the tate modern today. i wud say i liked about 80% of the art there which is a lot more thn i expected. we had a kids party at our halls tonight - if u got the parcel in 'pasz the parcel' u had to do a forfit, like drinking ur wine out of ur sock, or changing ALL your clothes with the person next to u. luckily i didnt get to play. i also nearly won pin the tail on the donkey but obvioulsy as i 'nearly' won, i didnt exaclty win. but yay - free wine! ah...i love neighbours. too much wine. end . plus i u guys are all great friends. x

kealey? liver failure? never!! good luck with ur french exam results - i just found out that i passed my january exams - one by a total of 4.5 marks - yeeo. no its pretty shit, am sitting on a 2-2. not great. but hey its chinese new year tomoro so think i may go to china town and see some cool dragons - scary. we're also having a children's fun party on saturday nite, lots of sweets, drink and the possibility of winning an ipod nano. we do have a shit halls but this wil be the 2nd nano they will have given away this year, as well as a digital camera and loads of mullah. so fingers crossed. has anyone else found that the new modules this term are several million times harder than last term? grr. its not so much fun and i am unbelievably behind in work. also (please no one hit me) but ive become completely addicted to big brother, i cant help it! i feel so scummy watching it but its complusive viewing. actually no its not but hey, give me a break. anyway, gotta go do some work. hope everyone has a nice weekend and cant wait to see yas all!

Hey, I'm making my sister tape the oc and desperate housewives cos i'll probably miss loads of them. if she doesn't i'll never speak to her again. still being lazy, though better do some french work for next week. was out on tuesday but we keep walking home cos we are poor and i alway end up with really sore feet. aideen, i agree, jarhead is really good. but jake does need his hair so he was only really lovely at the end. all buff though, nice. trying not to go out again until saturday due to brokeness and possible liver failure. have to go and find out how i did in my french exam. shit.

Anyway last week my flatmate Laura and I went on a detox diet where you had to eat cabbage soup all the time and it was meant to last for seven days but we only lasted five. And this is why:


On Wednesday it was my turn to make another batch of soup and I decided to try another recipe which involved loads of red stuff - red cabbages, red onions, red peppers, carrots, chopped tomatoes - plus some cool stuff like basil and balsamic vinegar. I was looking forward to it soooo much, it sounded lovely. So I spent all afternoon getting the ingredients and chopping them up, and I left it simmering while I went to choir.

But when I got back, the red cabbage had dyed the soup purple! And it tasted rank. So me and Laura packed it in and went back to our chocolate biscuits. And that's the end of that chapter. The moral is, never make a soup involving red cabbage or baslamic vinegar.

T'was my friend Becky's birthday on Saturday and we all went out for karaoke, which was sooo much fun! I sang From a Distance, Cry Me a River and other cheesy stuff my mum used to play to me when I were a lad...or foetus rather.


By the way, has anyone seen Brokeback Mountain yet? Lexi and I went on Thursday, and while it was a good film, Jake Gyllenhaal was *not sexy*. What was up with his redneck moustache? He looks class in Jarhead though, despite the shaved head. Jarhead is fucking brilliant by the way, you all hafta go and see it.

I DJed at the SU on the first Thursday of term, I am sooooo addicted! Wanna do it again, dammit. By the way, congrats on your Take That ticket Bronagh! Hope you enjoy the show.

Hello, being very lazy as after my exams i don't have any uni. at all until start of feb. The exams were a right little bitch. Debs- first year doesn't count, you only need 40% to pass. Does anyone have reading weeks or anything? i don't have one this semester but if anyone does you should come to manc. there is me and deborah and we can always throw someone round to michael's if needs be. oh and am very excited cos i got myself a take that ticket for manchester. you can slag me off all you want but wow its like a dream come true. Hello people, haven't been here in ages, how y'all doing. I don't know if any of yas knew him or not, but Micheal McGonigle, who was in the year above us and was actually living in a house in Belfast with my brother, was found dead yesterday at a landfill site in N. Belfast. Its so horrendous and shocking, and really very weird that it was the same date as Matthew. He had got thrown out of a bar for being blind drunk, and somehow made it down to there. The police aren't even treating it as suspicious though, so God only knows how he died, maybe the post mortem will shed some light. But isn't it so strange that 2 people from our school, only a year apart in age, have died within a year of each other, it really makes you think. I don't know how my brother and his housemates are goin to cope, havin to go back to that house with all his stuff in his room and him being gone now, and what are they supposed to do let his room out to someone else, its so so horrible.

hey guys! i am so sorry i havent been on in absolutely ages but i have been reading blog, i just cudnt leave any for ages cos i had no antivirus but as of tonight thats all changed. sorry thats big news for me. well happy new year everyone since i have hardly been speaking to you all. whats been happening? i had a really nice xmas, loved being at home ane clearly didnt do enough work so 4 exams which i had on monday and tuesday were a bit disastrous. well 2 were ok, one was hard and the other was some sick persons idea of a joke. or at least, my mark will be. but sure. started all new modules this term so have no real work as of yet- well thats a lie, i have two pieces of work to do but dont want to do it yet. so just spent the week doing touristy stuff - buckingham palace, trafalgur sq etc. went to this russian winter festival with lots of vodka, mainly to see this huge ice sclupture they had but the genius that made it forgot that this isnt moscow and it melted halfway through the week, there wasnt a trace of it! that was fun. my brother also starts his job this week so he bought a car and drove it over on sat night. stayed at my uncles with him and my uncle had me completely plastered on wine it was very embarrassing. he just kept filling up my glass without me noticing. luckily my dad wasnt there. but gerard has been realy sweet and drove me to tescos to buy heavy stuff - such a luxury! also went out to a birthday party on friday night and uri gellar - the spoon bending guy - was sitting right behind me. so ya know, just mingling with the celebs. its all so fancay. but was good. its been lovely to spend time with family and friends this week, especially this week with matthew's anniversary and everything. bronagh, dont know if ul c this on time but good luck with exams. love yas all and AIDEEN THANK YO SO MUCH FOR THAT LINK IVE WANTED TO LEARN THAT FOR ABSOLUTELY AGES!!!!
