Hey Everybody! Haven't been on this for ages cause was gettin broadband put in and it became more complicated than originally thought. Sorry!!
Anyway, how's everyone doing. I started Queen's, goin great, only major problem is the fact that Jackie (complete with caked on all over the place makeup) and Catherine Boyd are doin Psychology as well and i think Jackie thinks that i want her as a friend. She gets the train as well so its sooo hard to get a way from her. Have met some really friendly people though, especially the one's in my tutor group, so hopefully i can get away. Hardly ever see Kerri, her timetable really different to mine. Have passed at least 20 people from our year, here's my list-Gaby, Sinead and Eleanor, Caroline Toner, Fiona and Joel, Colin and Carly (they travel to St Mary's together), Martin, Catriona, Leanne, Claire and Meabh, Ciara and Vicky, Eamon Byers and Cassidy, Sarah Monaghan, Sean Fox(always see him walking ainlessly about the place, how strange)
Saw Mark in M&S today- Said Hi, but Mark, ya looked in quite a grumpy mood, what was wrong? And also tuck your shirt in and straighten up your tie- tuttut
Can i have everyone's email's- have Aideen's and Matthew's now- If you do i'll send ya's a lovely Xmas card
Aideen and Bernadette, what courses are ya doin, quite embarrassing that i don't know, like Chandler's job in Friend's- what did he do?

You're back? Wow. How did you manage that one? Who's gonna look after the kids now? Anyhoo, glad you're safe and sound. What was so bad about Germany? You hafta tell us about this america thing. Is it just for spring and summer?

I went jobhunting last night, it's a nightmare! All the places I went in for have just taken on loads of staff and have nothing left. Damn! I'm gonna go hand in my CV at a couple more places today, and hopefully something will materialise.

Ugh, I'm so tired. Me and my flatmates stayed up all night last night watching Kill Bill 1 *and* 2, it was great but exhausting. How's everyone's lectures going? I had my first ones on Tuesday. The FRTV one was cool, it was practical and we got to use all this cool equipment. We have autocues and all! Then we had french in the afternoon, which was okay, but kinda scary cos the lady talked really really fast in french and I could only pick up about half of what she said. Eeeek! So yesterday we had FRTV theory and it was really interesting. My theory lecturer reminds me so much of Super Cooper. She talks, acts and looks like the Coop! It's scary, like being back in English class again, but it's good because she's a really good lecturer and stuff, and she seems strict but nice.

Had freshers fair yesterday, it was class. I joined about a million clubs (even the black students club - I was asked to join so I thought what the hey! I know, I know...and I was nearly talked into joining the pagan society - wtf?) I won't have time for but it's nice to know they're there.

Last friday Bodger and Badger came to our SU - remember them?

BLOG REVIVAL!

I'm back, Germany was the shittiest thing that has ever happened to me. Ever. Still working out what to do now that I'm back. I've seen this scholarship in America thing and i phoned the lady about and she sis that if I applied Iw ould get a place unless I did something really really stupid. Don't know wheter to even apply or not I'll have to see, otherwise I will just work my @$$ off and go travelling over the spring/summer period.

hey, sorry haven't been near a computer but michael is letting me use his laptop. deborah is here too but says she's too lazy to ever use the internet and bother leaving a message. michael is making a cup of tea. anyway manchester's really good and cheap. haven't really ventured to any clubs though further away from the union and the bar in our halls which is 1 pound 30 for a pint of cider and black.
have to go, being anti social.
love ya all

WOOO! I finally got logged on! Canterbury kicks major butt, I love it here so much. My halls are about 2 seconds from everything, my flatmates are great*, and I'm only in one full day and two mornings a week! Listen, could everyone please send me your postal address at uni (also Mark could you send me your home address) so I can send everyone a big email with everyones contact details on it. Unfortunately My laptop won't get connected for another two weeks so I won't be able to post any photos here for a while, but at least you have something to look forward to. Mark, those pictures are great! Might print them out for my walls...

So who's all moved in? My room's still a complete disaster, I basically just flung everything everywhere when I unpacked and I'm still picking up the pieces! Damn me...anyway, I'm away to find a job! See yas!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

*actually, three of my flatmates are great. Two of them don't move in til Sunday and the other one is the most elusive person ever. I think she basically sleeps here and does everything else next-door (she has a friend there). We never see her except the odd time when we see the back of her head dissappear out the door. We can't find her food in the fridge, or her dishes in the cupboards...she must either not eat at all or eat next door. She did come down to talk to us oncea and seems nice, but bloody hell!

Bronagh

Matthew, don't worry, it'll take a couple of weeks to adjust. i was well freaked out when i stayed with a french family by myself cos i really didn't understand what was going on. i know it's not as long as you are staying but it will be worth it. i ended up having a great time.
going on saturday! yay, quite looking forward to it actually.

Aideen

Awwwwww Matthew! Stick it out, I'm sure it'll get better. Plus if you were back here everyone would be gone - most of us are moving out by this weekend. What are the kids like? I'd give you more words of comfort but I'm moving out in a matter of hours and I'm fucked.

Can everyone, Matthew included, email me your new address so I can send an email to everyone with your postal addresses on it? My email is aideen_johnston@yahoo.co.uk

I have soooo much stuff! It's ridiculous. I'm gonna have oversized baggage charges galore! Urgh, wish we'd just decided to bring the car...wait, that would be worse...ach shoite!

Matthew

I'm in Germany and I hate it! Ijust want to come home and see everyone! I went to a language school onthe first night and didn't understand anything after the first hour. I'm supposed to be cleaning the kitchen but I can't find the right stuff so I'm sending ssome of her work e-mails for her. She sends emails to every company in very country. I miss mx family so much! I really really don't feel comfortable at all here

Mark I'll fone you tomorrow about posting pictures, kay?

MARK

Okay school is crap, and im actually working for once plus its so weird not seeing you's all every day and Chris dargan was on the upper sixth side being a dick Annie will understand that one. Also someone, matthew might have had to save a post to drafts as that was what it was a draft!sorry however if you find that offensive. I was trying to upload pics to the post and after several attempts lost my posts each time so I decide to save it instead to ask aideen for help as I didn't want to ruin blogger with any foolhardy tampering. Also just stared filling in ucas form and personal statement how did you do it!The personal statement mind melting anything I write on it is crap to an extreme. Annie hurry up and post!

Aideen

Longer post coming later, but for now, y'all hafta check out this amazing website: http://www.timgmusic.co.uk/ click on bootlegs and scroll down the "lo-fi streams" bit. Some of the mashups are incredible esp the Britney vs Queens of the Stone Age one and the Kelis/Justing Timberlake one. On a related note, I just downloaded an Eminem/The Smiths mashup. So wrong, yet so right.

Dettesmee (still cant believe everyone is leaving)

hey bronagh - lunch sounds good but the only day im free is friday but hey, if that doesnt suit dont worry.

Matthew

Everyone add me to MSN so that I can chat while I'm in Deutschland. It's damatt5@hotmail.com and my other e-mail address is Mccrorymatthew@yahoo.co.uk. Also if you look at my MSN MySpace you might be pleasantly suprised.

Bronagh

ahh everyone is leaviness.
why is everyone going back up to the school? i am confused.
i am going early sat. morning, was thinking the rest of us left here could meet up during the week but i really don't fancy going out in town any night cos cars and buses going back to bangor are getting hijacked and it's all a bit lairy in general.
maybe we could meet up for lunch or something?
esp. helen cos i have annie's money for you!

Someone posted an entry as a draft instead of a actual real life post. *A-hole*
So Martin's Mum and Dad won 60K on the lottery apparently.

When's everyone going away? I'm leaving on the 15th (Thursday). What about everyone else?

Also, Bronagh, have u been watching Lost on RTE or something? I missed every episode and my brothers had them taped for me but they're now recorded over. I feel like a complete loser!

High Street at night reminds me of I Predict a Riot. Never go there.

Bronagh

oh annie, hogging all the horse party photographs.
i just watched the last episode of lost in the series, i was very excited.
was out last night and the high street in bangor was actually invaded by scary drunk northern ireland fans who all decided to take their tops off and parade up the street. i was scared and ran away.
also they need to come up with more chants. the away in a manger...heALY does get a bit repetitive after a while.
i didn't even see the bloody match but anytime england lose is fine by me. i really shouldn't be going to study in england, i'll have to stop this xenophobia.

Also, why would anyone be arsed going back to school?

I found this amazing website today, you can download loads of free music by bands you've never even heard of!
http://www.epitonic.com

As for the Mercury Music prize, I am very glad Antony and the Johnsons won, mainly because they have the same name as my little brother, but also because I quiet like what I've heard of them.
